God in Jonah 4
Through this summer we studied the compassionate life of Christ from Matthew (chapters 4-13; click here to listen). Then, Jesus told his listeners the most curious things about Jonah, the Old Testament prophet. Why Jonah? How is this small story about a big fish so relevant to both Jesus and us today? Well, alot has to do with the fact that it packs a wallop of teaching about the magnanimous mercy of God.
