If we think that the only point of the spiritual journey is to make it safely to heaven, we have largely missed the plot. Yes, heaven, and life eternal in the very presence of God, is the reward of faith. But there are two things that must also happen: The Bible insists that your life would be increasingly transformed to be like Christ and that your transforming life would then impact others, inspiring them to come on the journey with you.
At PGCC we believe for the transformation of Christ to affect the whole person and that a person who is being transformed like Christ will naturally bring that transformation to our city. This sermon series holds before us five facets of a transforming life in Christ: Transforming mind, character, service, relationships and influence. We pray that this series, based on the first chapters of the Book of Acts, will challenge, inspire, equip and embolden you to live the transformed life!
